MAESTRO RESHIN NIKA
A highly respected
Shipibo Curandero & Vegetalista from Santa Clara de Ucayali, Peru

Known throughout the world as one of the most gifted and pure-hearted ayahuasca healers in Peru. He has 35 years experience, and draws upon a remarkable shamanic lineage; he studied with his grandfather, who was one of the last ‘Merayas’ – the highest grade of shaman you can achieve.

Reshin Nika recently departed from The Garden of Peace in Tarapoto, Peru, where he worked for the past five years.

Through his heartfelt, deeply transformative healing work, he earned the trust and love of hundreds of people he served. In the summer of 2025, he fulfilled a long-held dream by opening his own ayahuasca retreat center near Pucallpa, Peru.

Those who sit in his ceremonies often speak of his extraordinary ability to move energy.

Some call him a "Wizard" for the way his icaros move energy in powerful ways in ceremonies, drawing heavy energies from the body like a great magnet— It’s a gift that can only come from years of deep experience and unwavering intention.

Many also note the purity of his work: He uses the medicine only for good.

And for those familiar with this medicine world, they know just how rare—and precious—that truly is.

Besides his great wisdom and healing power, Maestro Reshin Nika possesses a kindness, patience & humility for all of humanity.

He is also widely known for singing Icaro’s with a layered complexity level that surpasses any in Peru. The deep love he feels for you and your healing, is moving and notably felt by all who attend his ceremonies.

He helps individuals with addressing many types of illnesses, on all four bodies: Spiritual, Mental, Emotions, and Physical.

He is very humble about his work and will often give all the credit to the medicinal plants and the trees. The common understanding and belief is that the spirits of the plants and trees are the true physicians. Maestro Reshin Nika only considers himself a conduit and a channel.

Over the years he also travels outside of his community periodically to practice his craft in Switzerland and Portugal.

This is a common path for many Maestros, often a way to gain exposure to the outside world. While under his watch, the individuals he worked with received a high level of attention and praise his integrity, grounded presence and profound healing work. They now ask him to return yearly, and he is expanding his work even further across the globe.

Maestro Reshin Nika’s Background

Maestro Reshin Nika began his training with his grandfather at 15 years old, to become a maestro (master healer). The terms curandero (healer) and a vegetalista (heals with plants and trees) are also often used to denote his expertise. His training gives him the ability to approach treatment using one of two methods: he can utilize a myriad of plants and trees in combination with Ayahuasca or can solely employ plants and trees during treatment. He continues to dieta with sacred plants and trees yearly, for strength, wisdom and protection.

The Shipibo

The name Shipibo or "Shipibo-Conibo" comes from the merging of two closely related but once distinct indigenous groups: the Shipibo and the Conibo peoples. These two groups gradually merged over time through intermarriage, shared culture, and alliances, and are now generally referred to as a single people.

Reshin Nika’s great grandfather and great grandmother were from a class of healers considered superior: These healers were known as Meraya.

From what is known, no Merayas exist today. During the time of the Merayas small groups of families lived close to one another in clusters; the communities as they are now did not exist then. As with many indigenous peoples, the Shipibo did not record their history as it was passed down orally; as a result, it is not clear how far back the lineage goes but it is likely to extend hundreds, and probably thousands of years of shamans back in time.

Maestro Reshin Nika has continued to carry on the tradition of curanderismo and adheres to the foundation that was set by his grandfather for delivering the medicine and healing methods passed on to him.

He maintains a high degree of reverence for his role in extending his lineage into the future and continues the legacy of his ancestors by holding space with integrity and fidelity. He was given a vision that he was to create a healing center where he would one day help in the healing of humanity, and a place from where he could teach others who were called to embark on this path. This is very much in line with what is transpiring around the world. There is a resurgence occurring, a global awakening, that is leading humanity to rediscover the “ancient ways” and practices for healing.

Do not depend on wings
to ascend;
Rise through the strength
of your heart —
a heart tempered in Gold, Silver, and Mercury.

Wings are gifted freely to those who offer shelter,
to all who seek refuge.

Our flame blazes brightest in the company of others.
No water can drown it —
for even a Phoenix drinks from the holy grail of love.

“In 2017, I healed from Chronic Lyme Disease in just one month through a Master Plant Dieta in the Sacred Valley of Peru—something a Lyme specialist in the U.S. had told me would take five years to heal from. Since then, I’ve returned to Peru often, continuing to work with master plant medicine dieta’s because I’ve personally witnessed their profound healing potential—both in myself and in others.

My experience with Reshin Nika stands out as one of the most transformative and healing chapters of my life. I arrived carrying deep emotional pain and spiritual entanglements from spells a previous Shipibo Maestro put on me. Through a prescribed dieta with Ayahuma & Bobinsana, along with Reshin Nika’s ceremonies & powerful Icaros, I felt those heavy layers lift—cleared with a grace I hadn’t thought possible.

His connection to the medicine is rooted in humility, integrity, and deep reverence. He creates a space of wisdom, love, and true protection, where each ceremony feels deeply sacred and supported. Even after leaving Peru, his presence continued to guide me—his words and energy offering support throughout my integration journey.

Reshin Nika is a true healer, a guardian, and protector of the spirit. I will always be deeply grateful.”
