Shihuahuaco

Shihuahuaco (Dipteryx micrantha), also known as Shihuaco, is the tallest and strongest tree in the jungle. It is known to have a masculine spirit and energy, and serves as a physical vehicle for the curvy and feminine vine of Ayahuasca to grow upward. It is seen as the structured masculine supporting the fluid feminine.

It is said that the spirit of Shihuahuaco appears as a large-dimensional man whose body has a shining metallic sheen. The physical strength, density, and durability of these centenarian trees have also led to its mass deforestation - The Shihuahuaco tree is now threatened for species extinction to feed the high demand for lumber export.
